To design and conduct a single experiment to measure the distinct flow measurement using venturi, orifice, rotameter and bench.

2 . zero: Theory

The rotameter is a flow inmiscuirse in which a revolving free float is the suggesting element. Fundamentally, a rotameter consists of a translucent tapered straight tube whereby fluid flow upward. In the tube is positioned a widely suspended " float” of pump-bob shape. When there is no flow, the float engraves a stop in the bottom end. While flow begins, the float rises till upward and buoyancy makes on it happen to be balanced simply by its weight. The float increases only a short distance in case the rate of flow can be small , and vice versa. The points of balance can be mentioned as a function of stream rate. Using a well-calibrated designated glass conduit, the level of the float turns into a direct way of measuring flow rate

The venturi meter includes a venturi conduit and an appropriate differential pressure gauge. The venturi pipe has a converging portion, a throat and a diverging portion since shown inside the figure beneath.
