Abstract

This report has reviewed the culture of Korea through the use of Hofstede‟s five dimensions of national culture (1997). Lifestyle is identified and review of the five dimensions can be discussed, and then the research of Korea culture that shows significant contrasting ethnical values with Western countries. Moreover, stereotypes of Korea seem linked to the power range and collectivism culture, deriving the solid bond in nationalism and respect to seniority. Concerning interpersonal connection, interaction is more indirect and passive with silence, which is perceived in four symbolism: truthfulness, cultural discretion, shame, and disobedient. Non-verbal particularly plays their important role the moment communicating with Korean. Recommendations receive to student who should go to Korea for positioning or functioning experience after graduation.

The world is starting to become a global industry for rising and emerging
