Firstly I'd like to thank Ms. Baptiste my CALAMITE teacher on her patience and guidance, as well as the members of my survey for their contribution. Finally I'd like to thank my family and friends for their support and confidence. Introduction

The topic I've chosen may be the levels of understanding of the compression of sexually transmitted conditions among Barbadian teenagers. I've chosen this topic because of the severity of impact it could have upon Barbadian society without proper knowledge. Without expertise our Barbadian teenagers will make careless decisions and cause an break out of sexually transmitted disorders. Sexually transmitted diseases, recognized known as STD's are among the list of world's most commonly caught diseases. They are unpleasant, irritating, transmittable and sometimes perilous. Sexually sent diseases are incredibly easy to get, but they are very easy to stop. There are a large number of different types of Sexually transmitted diseases, some more damaging than other folks, such as Chlamydia, syphilis, herpes virus, and HIV/aids. In this examine I will make an effort to analyze fifteen teenagers coming from Queens College or university with different age groups between 14 and 19 through a study. From the outcomes of these questionnaires, organisations just like can benefit from these types of by taking my own results and placing essentially measures to teach Barbadian young adults on sexually transmitted diseases to prevent widespread outbreaks. Teens tend to be at improved risk for Sexually transmitted diseases compared to other age groups. This is likely because teens are more likely to have vulnerable, unguarded, isolated, exposed, unshielded, at risk sex as well as multiple partners. A lack of readily available information about prevention and treatment plans, as well as a identified stigma surrounding STD's, might also deter teens from seeking help after they need it. It was stated simply by Susan Carney from Junior Development (USA), April second 2008. This study about teens will be proven/ disproven in my research through my surveys among the 15 teenagers I will analyze. In my study I also found that, 12, 000 Young adults will deal an AN STD this year and of those 15, 000, 5500 Teens is going to contract HIV or Chlamydia (more common among young adults than older adults), Gonorrhoea also is found to have higher rates in teens than older adults. As many as 15% of sexually active adolescent women are infected with HPV, many with the kind of HPV related to cervical cancers. Many Sexually transmitted diseases were discovered to have handful of or no symptoms and were NOT a part of Regular STD Tests. This information was taken from findings of stats made by Glen Davis through the " StopThinkDecide” organisation in 2007 (USA). Awareness of the dangers of HIV/Aids is decreasing among young people at a time once fewer are practising safe sex, since revealed simply by Owen Bowcott in 2009. He conducted a survey about young people to find out how uninformed they are with the risks of Hiv/Aids. His findings demonstrated that practically 60% of 16- to 24-year-olds questioned thought these were not vulnerable to contracting the problem after having unprotected love-making and 8%...
